1. About FoundHint

FoundHint is a local SEO solution designed to help WordPress businesses, agencies, and SEO professionals manage and improve their local search presence.

FoundHint provides tools and recommendations for areas such as local SEO audits, business information, website optimization, Google Business Profile integration, local ranking monitoring, competitor analysis, area coverage, local landing pages, and local schema.

FoundHint does not guarantee any particular search ranking, Google Business Profile position, traffic level, calls, leads, sales, or other business result.

2. Eligibility

You must have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms under the laws applicable to you.

If you use FoundHint on behalf of a business, agency, organization, or client, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.

3. Your FoundHint Account

Some FoundHint features may require an account.

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate account information
• Keeping your account information up to date
• Protecting your account credentials
• Keeping your login information confidential
• All activity performed through your account
• Notifying us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization

You must not use another person's account without appropriate authorization.

4. WordPress Plugin

FoundHint may be provided as a WordPress plugin.

You are responsible for maintaining a compatible WordPress environment and ensuring that your website meets the technical requirements required to use FoundHint.

FoundHint may release updates, bug fixes, security improvements, feature changes, or other modifications to the plugin from time to time.

We may discontinue or modify specific features when reasonably necessary to maintain or improve the Service.

5. Free and Paid Features

FoundHint may offer both free and paid features.

The features, limitations, usage allowances, and availability of different plans may change over time.

Paid features require an active subscription or applicable license unless otherwise stated.

Your access to Pro features may end when your subscription or license expires, is cancelled, suspended, or terminated.

6. Subscriptions

If you purchase a subscription, you agree to pay the applicable price displayed at the time of purchase.

Subscription prices may vary based on:

• Plan
• Number of websites
• Number of locations
• Billing period
• Promotional offers
• Other plan conditions

Any applicable taxes or additional charges will be handled according to the payment provider and applicable laws.

7. Automatic Renewal

If your FoundHint subscription is configured to renew automatically, your subscription may renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel it before the renewal date.

The applicable renewal price will be the price presented under the subscription terms at the time of renewal, subject to applicable changes communicated to you.

You are responsible for maintaining a valid payment method for your subscription.

8. Cancellation

You may cancel a subscription according to the cancellation options available through your FoundHint account or applicable payment platform.

Cancellation generally prevents future renewal but does not necessarily provide a refund for a period that has already been paid for, unless otherwise stated in our Refund Policy or required by applicable law.

9. Refunds

Refund eligibility is governed by the FoundHint Refund Policy.

Any applicable refund conditions, time limits, exclusions, and procedures are described in that policy.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory refund or consumer rights provided by applicable law.

10. License

Subject to these Terms and your applicable plan, FoundHint grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the FoundHint software and Service for your permitted business or personal purposes.

Unless expressly permitted by your plan or a separate written agreement, you may not:

• Resell FoundHint as your own software
• Redistribute FoundHint software
• Copy or reproduce the Service
• Modify or create derivative versions of FoundHint
• Remove proprietary notices
• Reverse engineer the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it
• Use FoundHint to build a substantially competing service

11. Agency and Client Use

Agencies, consultants, freelancers, and SEO professionals may use FoundHint to manage authorized client websites and business information, subject to the applicable plan and license limitations.

If you use FoundHint for a client, you are responsible for ensuring that:

• You have permission to manage the client's website
• You have appropriate authorization to manage the client's business information
• You have appropriate authorization to connect third-party accounts
• Your use complies with your agreement with the client
• You do not represent yourself as having authority that you do not have

You are responsible for actions taken through client accounts you manage.

12. Business Information

You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and ownership or authorization of the information you enter into FoundHint.

You should review information before publishing, synchronizing, or applying changes through any available integration.

FoundHint may provide tools to identify inconsistencies or potential issues, but you remain responsible for deciding whether information is accurate and appropriate to publish.

13. Google Business Profile Integration

FoundHint may offer functionality that connects with Google Business Profile or other Google services.

Using these features may require you to authorize FoundHint through Google's authorization process.

You must have appropriate permission to access and manage the Google Business Profile or Google account you connect to FoundHint.

You must not use FoundHint to access or manage a business profile without authorization.

14. Google Account Authorization

When connecting a Google account, you authorize FoundHint to access the Google services and information permitted through the authorization process.

You are responsible for reviewing the permissions presented by Google before granting access.

FoundHint does not require you to provide your Google account password directly to FoundHint.

You may disconnect an authorized Google integration using the available FoundHint functionality or applicable Google account controls.

15. Google Policies

Your use of Google services through FoundHint may also be subject to Google's applicable terms, policies, and requirements.

You agree not to use FoundHint to violate applicable Google policies or to access or manage Google data without proper authorization.

Google may modify, restrict, suspend, or discontinue its APIs or services. Such changes may affect the availability or functionality of corresponding FoundHint features.

FoundHint does not control Google's services, policies, search results, rankings, API availability, or decisions regarding Business Profiles.

16. No Google Affiliation

FoundHint is an independent product and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or officially connected with Google unless expressly stated otherwise.

Google, Google Business Profile, Google Maps, and related names and marks belong to their respective owners.

17. Local SEO Recommendations

FoundHint may provide audits, recommendations, reports, comparisons, insights, and other information intended to assist with local SEO.

These recommendations are provided as tools to support your decision-making.

FoundHint does not guarantee that following any recommendation will result in:

• Higher search rankings
• Improved Google Business Profile visibility
• More website traffic
• More calls
• More customers
• More leads
• Increased revenue
• A particular position in Google Search or Maps

Search engines and third-party platforms use their own algorithms, policies, and systems, which FoundHint does not control.

18. Ranking and Performance Information

Any ranking, visibility, performance, competitor, or area coverage information provided by FoundHint may depend on data from your website, connected services, selected search locations, third-party systems, or other available sources.

Such information may change over time and may not represent every user's actual search experience.

You should treat this information as an analytical reference rather than a guarantee of search performance.

19. Third-Party Services

FoundHint may integrate with third-party services.

Third-party services may have their own:

• Terms of service
• Privacy policies
• API restrictions
• Availability requirements
• Usage limits
• Pricing
• Service changes

FoundHint is not responsible for changes, interruptions, errors, or restrictions imposed by third-party services.

Your use of third-party services remains subject to their applicable terms and policies.

20. User Content

You may provide information, text, business data, website information, images, or other content through FoundHint ("User Content").

You retain your rights in User Content that you own.

You grant FoundHint the limited rights reasonably necessary to host, process, display, transmit, analyze, or otherwise use User Content to provide and operate the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights and permissions for User Content you provide.

21. Prohibited Uses

You must not use FoundHint to:

• Violate applicable laws or regulations
• Access accounts or business profiles without authorization
• Impersonate another person or business
• Submit false or misleading business information
• Abuse third-party APIs or services
• Circumvent usage limits or security controls
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to FoundHint
• Distribute malware or harmful code
• Interfere with the operation of the Service
• Reverse engineer the Service except where legally permitted
• Scrape or systematically extract FoundHint data without permission
• Use the Service for fraudulent or deceptive activities
• Use FoundHint to violate the rights of others

22. Intellectual Property

FoundHint and its associated software, website, branding, designs, interfaces, documentation, content, features, and technology are owned by or licensed to FoundHint and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except for the rights expressly granted under these Terms, no ownership rights are transferred to you.

You may not use FoundHint branding, logos, or other proprietary materials without appropriate permission.

23. Feedback

If you provide suggestions, ideas, feature requests, or other feedback about FoundHint, you agree that we may use that feedback to improve the Service without owing you compensation, provided that doing so does not violate any rights you may have under applicable law.

24. Service Availability

We aim to keep FoundHint available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that the Service will always be:

• Available
• Uninterrupted
• Error-free
• Secure
• Compatible with every WordPress environment
• Free from defects

The Service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, technical problems, security incidents, infrastructure issues, or third-party service interruptions.

25. Software Updates

FoundHint may automatically or manually provide updates to the plugin or related software.

Updates may include:

• Security fixes
• Bug fixes
• Performance improvements
• Compatibility updates
• New features
• Feature modifications
• Changes required by third-party services

You are responsible for maintaining backups of your WordPress website and data before applying significant software updates.

26. Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to FoundHint when reasonably necessary if:

• You materially violate these Terms
• You use the Service unlawfully
• You abuse the Service
• You attempt unauthorized access
• Your payment obligations remain unpaid
• Your use creates a security risk
• We are legally required to do so
• Continued access could cause harm to FoundHint, other users, or third parties

Where appropriate, we may provide notice or an opportunity to resolve the issue before suspension or termination.

27. Effect of Termination

When your access to FoundHint ends, your right to use paid or restricted features may also end.

Termination does not automatically remove obligations that by their nature should continue after termination, including provisions concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute-related matters.

28. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FoundHint is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We do not guarantee that FoundHint will meet every specific requirement or produce a particular business or SEO outcome.

Local search results, Google Business Profile information, rankings, algorithms, third-party APIs, and other external systems can change independently of FoundHint.

You are responsible for evaluating recommendations and deciding what actions to take for your business or website.

29. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FoundHint and its operators, affiliates, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or similar damages arising from or related to your use of the Service.

This may include loss of:

• Revenue
• Profits
• Customers
• Business opportunities
• Search rankings
• Website traffic
• Data
• Business reputation

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

30. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless FoundHint and its operators, employees, contractors, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your unlawful use of the Service
• Your User Content
• Your unauthorized use of third-party accounts or data
• Your violation of another person's rights
• Your use of FoundHint on behalf of a client without appropriate authorization

31. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when our Service, business practices, or legal requirements change.

When we update the Terms, we will change the Last Updated date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of FoundHint after an updated version becomes effective means you accept the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

32. Governing Law

34. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the FoundHint Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and other policies or agreements expressly incorporated into these Terms, constitute the agreement governing your use of FoundHint.
